Adil El Arbaoui, Moroccan cyclist of the Khouribga club, retains his title as the Moroccan champion in the individual time trial. On Friday, he won the 34 km (round trip) race in Michlifen, during the first day of the Moroccan road cycling championships in Ifrane, organized from June 28th to 30th under the auspices of the International Cycling Union (UCI).

Adil El Arbaoui won the time trial race with a time of 41 minutes 02 seconds 05/100th, keeping his title as the champion of Morocco. He beat Mohcine El Kouraji, who clocked in at 42 minutes 06 seconds 06/100th, and Oussama Khafi, who finished third in 42 minutes 17 seconds 04/100th. Achraf Ed-Doghmy, the runner-up in the previous edition, took fourth place with a time of 43 minutes 31 seconds 09/100th, followed by Salaheddine Mraouni in fifth place with 43 minutes 41 seconds 04/100th.
 
In the senior women’s category, Malika Benallal from the Union Sportive de Ouazzane won the title with a time of 27 minutes 01 seconds 07/100th, ahead of Chaimae Zekraoui, the defending champion, who finished in a time of 28 minutes 04 seconds.
 
In the under-23 men’s category, Ibrahim Sabahi from the Boughaz Club in Tangier was crowned champion with a time of 43 minutes 05 seconds 05/100th, followed by Driss El Alouani in 43 minutes 39 seconds 03/100th and Hakim Younes in 44 minutes 52 seconds 06/100th.
 
conscience the under-23 women, Salma El Hariri from the Association Vélo des Champions Cyclistes de Safi won the title in 27 minutes 45 seconds, beating Chaimae El Hamri by one second.
 
In the junior boys’ category, Marouane Kharbouchi from the Kawkab Marrakech club came out on top with a time of 35 minutes 53 seconds 07/100th, three seconds ahead of Aymane Aït El Karma. In the junior girls’ category, Imane Lamkhayer from the Association Jeunesse Souk Sebt won the title in 29 minutes 40 seconds 07/100th, while Imane Mazigh took second place with a time of 31 minutes 34 seconds 03/100th.
 
The Moroccan Road Cycling Championships, organized by the magnifique Moroccan Cycling Federation, saw the participation of all associations affiliated with the Federation.
