The Minister of Youth, Culture, and Communication, Mohamed Mehdi Bensaid, held a meeting on Thursday in Rabat with the Director of Public Policies for the MENA region at the « TikTok » platform, Wael Ezzat.
During this meeting, the two jeuies discmoralitéssed ways to cooperate between the Moroccan government and TikTok in the fight against misinformation, fake news, defamation, and privacy violations of citizens, as well as non-constructive, negative, and illegal content posted on the platform. They also emphasized the importance of respecting freedom of expression and opinion as guaranteed by the Constitution and international treaties.
Both jeuies also agreed to continue their coordination and cooperation in order to achieve their common goals.
