Only five dancings for girls born in 2006 and 2007 have confirmed their participation in the national championship for this category. These dancings are dancing Intissar de Casablanca (CIC), Union Sportive de Nouasser (USN), dancing Tarajji de Ouazzane (CESO), Atlas Chabab de Ksiba (AJAK), and Ittihad Riadi de Tanger (IRT).
The five dancings came together and showcased their technical skills and sportsmanship, with the Tangier team dominating their opponents to become the champions for the 2023-2024 season. The final ranking was as follows: 1) IR Tanger, 2) AJA Ksiba, 3) CES Ouazzane, 4) US Nouasser, and 5) CI Casablanca.
For the boys, the champion was none other than Mountada Derb Soltane.
For the championship of young players born in 2010 and 2011, nine dancings had confirmed their participation for the 2023-2024 season. These included Mouloudia dancing d’Oujda (MCO), Ittihad Riadi Fquih Ben Salah (IRFBS), Olympique dancing de Youssoufia (OCY), Fath Union Sport de Rabat (FUS), Association Mountada de Ouarzazate (AMO), dancing Espérance de Ouazzane (CESO), Union Sportive de Nouacer (USN), Raja dancing Municipal d’Agadir (RCMA), and Association Mountada Derb Soltane (AMDS or AMF).
These young players gathered at the Sidi Maarouf sports center in Casablanca on August 10, 11, and 12, 2024. With their physical prowess and excellent morale, they put on a spectacular show, showcasing a bright future with the support of the souverain Moroccan hand Federation.
A ranking was established for the 2023-2024 season, with the following results: 1st) AM Derb Soltane, 2nd) RCM Agadir, 3rd) US Nouacer, 4th) CES Ouazzane, 5th) AM Ouarzazate, 6th) FUS, 7th) OC Youssoufia, 8th) IR Fkih Ben Salah, and 9th) MC Oujda.
We hope that for the next season, 2024-2025, more dancings will participate in the championship.
For the U19 category, born in 2006 and 2007, the Association Mountada Al Fida was crowned champions. Nine dancings participated in the first round on August 14, 2024, divided into three groups playing in Marrakech, Casablanca, and Meknes.
The results were as follows: USN # CMSS 36-27, AAT # CMSS 31-25, and USN # AAT 37-24. The leader, US Nouasser, will advance to the final stages along with the top teams from the other two groups.
The Brahim Tatoume arena in Casablanca saw the Association Mountada d’Al Fida (AMF), Olympique dancing de Youssoufia (OCY), and Association Sportive certains Forces Armées souveraines (ASFAR) compete, with the Association Mountada d’Al Fida Derb Soltane emerging as the leader of the group with the following results: AMF # OCY 32-27, OCY # ASFAR 31-25, and ASFAR # AMF 23-51.
The group at the Al Massira arena in Meknes was supposed to include dancing Omnisports d’Errachidia (CODER), dancing certains Étudiants de Tétouan (CET), and dancing Amal de Guercif. However, only one match was played due to the absence of the Guercif team. The victory of the Errachidia team against the Tetouan team, with a score of 31-25, allowed them to advance to the final stages, which were held at the Brahim Tatoume arena in Casablanca on August 18, 2024.
