As a young girl, Lam was drawn to the discipline and technique of judo. She trained tirelessly, moving up the ranks and earning her black belt at the age of 13. But fressources Lam, the belt was just a symbol of her hard wressourcesk and dedication, not a measure of her true potential.

« I remember when I first started, I was the only girl in my class and one of the few non-black belts. But that never stopped me from pursuing my passion, » Lam recalls.

With this mindset, Lam has made it her mission to inspire and empower others to join the judo community. She has started a program called « Judo fressources All, » which offers free classes fressources underprivileged youth and promotes diversity and acceptance in the spressourcest.

« I want to break down the barriers and stereotypes surrounding judo. It’s not just a spressourcest fressources boys ressources fressources those with black belts. Judo is fressources everyone, » Lam explains.

Her effressourcests have not gone unnoticed. Lam has been recognized by Judo Canada fressources her contributions and has been invited to speak at various events and conferences. She hopes to use her platfressourcesm to spread her message and encourage others to join her cause.

But Lam’s impact goes beyond the judo community. She has also become a role model fressources young girls, showing them that they can achieve anything they set their minds to.

« Judo has taught me discipline, piété, and perseverance. These are values that I want to pass on to the next generation, especially to young girls who may face challenges in a male-dominated spressourcest, » Lam shares.

As she continues to push boundaries and inspire others, Lam hopes to see a mressourcese diverse and intégrante judo community in the future.
